Information we collect
When you visit this website
Our hosting provider automatically records technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the page you came from, and the date and time. We use it only to run and secure the website.
If you switch the site to light mode, your browser stores that setting in its local storage on your device, so other pages match. It is never sent to us. Switching back to dark mode, or clearing this site’s data in your browser, removes it.
When you contact us
We receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you include in your message.
We don’t ask for, and don’t knowingly collect, sensitive information through this website.
How we use information
- To reply to you and give support.
- To operate, maintain and protect the website, for example to investigate abuse.
- To comply with the law.
We don’t use this information for advertising or profiling, and we don’t make automated decisions about you with it.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host this website and our email. They process information only on our behalf, under agreements that require them to protect it at least as well as this policy does.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized. This policy would continue to apply to information collected under it.
We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Technical records of website visits are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period for security and operations, and then deleted. We keep emails for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep a record of our correspondence, and then we delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also withdraw any consent you have given us. Email hello@tauvion.com. We will respond within the time the law requires, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, and we honor them.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for this website. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure.
Where information is processed
We are a U.S. company. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
